Welcome Forward Campaign

Kentucky's restaurants began emerging from the COVID-19 lockdown just in time for Memorial Day weekend. But as operators dealt with all the logistics of reopening their dining rooms under new rules, they also needed to communicate with their customers. 

Fleur de Lis worked with the Kentucky Restaurant Association on a campaign to build customer knowledge and confidence in advance of the opening day. We produced public service announcements, commissioned an informational video that operators could share to social media and email lists, and worked with media to facilitate news coverage across the commonwealth. We worked with our clients to identify three critical messages:  1) restaurants support their communities and play key parts in life milestones, 2) as Kentucky's second largest private employer, the industry is critical to the economy, and 3) while restaurants would be making changes, they've long had the highest standards of hygiene and safety.
